Lonny and John Larsen
Have been in the travel industry for 28 years. They regularly travel to Europe and within South Africa. Favourite travel experience: "Vietnam - we visited Hanoi, Danag and Ho Chi Minh. Hanoi was definitely the highlight of our trip. It is an amazing city and had fabulous art as well! Next on our bucket list would be Myanmar?"
Sydney Mashego
Is a senior consultant who has been with Dana Agency for 16 years. "I started my travel career with Dana Agency and they have become part of my family. One of my favourite destinations is Reunion Island - it is a very diverse destination and seeing a newly erupted volcano with lava and smoke was definitely something to remember." He has travelled to Mauritius, Reunion, Hong Kong, various countries in Europe.
Wendy Deary
Grew up in Zimbabwe and moved to South Africa in 1990. She has been with Dana Agency since 2008 as a senior consultant but has been in travel for 22 years. She has travelled to India, China, Dubai, Borneo, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey, USA, Greece, Brasil, UK, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Mauritius. "If I could pick a place to go back to it would definitely be Turkey because the culture and people were so vibrant and friendly. And there is nothing nicer than turkish delight?"
Kazia Kupe
Has been with Dana Agency for 9 years and in travel for 14 years and is originally from Zimbabwe. Her favourite destination is Krabi - Thailand "A small place with a lot going on. Bargain shopping a street away, pedicures as you lay on the beach and crazy massages just a stone throw away - what more could a girl ask for?!" She has also travelled to Malaysia and Mauritius.
Paula Peters
Paula joined us in February 2016 as our Business Manager. Originally from Zimbabwe, she started her career in travel back in 1976. Her happiest times are when she is travelling, and endeavours to put itineraries together for travellers as if she herself were doing the trip. Prior to joining us, Paula was a Business Manager with HRG Rennies Travel when the calls of the wild beckoned her to Mpumalanga.
Zweli Bhiya
Zweli joined the team in November 2016 as an intern. He has grown into an all- rounder that slots into every department from AA to travel bookings and finance. He loves travel and wants to be able to travel the world one day.
Adele Jooste
Is the debtors clerk and started with Dana Agency at the beginning of 2015.
Melanie Human
Has been with Dana Agency since 2009 and is the HR and Admin manager. She has travelled to Buenos Aires, Bariloche and Mauritius. "I have quite a long list of destinations that I would still like to see but at the top of my list is going to see the Migration in Kenya."
Charmaine Lombard
Joined Dana in 2017 as Senior Consultant. I grew up in the States, the Free States. "I worked in the UK from 2002 till 2004 and returned back to SA and started working in the Travel Industry in March 2004. I fell in love with the Travel Industry and it is a passion more than a job. I have visited the UK, France, Mozambique, Bali, Thailand, Victoria Falls, Mauritius and Italy. International destination I will travel to again - Italy. There are no words to describe the beauty of the small villages in Italy, the Presence at the Vatican the Majestic Colosseum and all its glory, the smell of leather in the streets of Florence and the fashion of Milan. My heart will always remain local, for the Bush and Beach, Kruger and Cape Town - Local is after all Lekker!"
